Customer Service Agent

Part-Time/Seasonal
Shift Work between 6am and 10pm, 7 days/week

Pacific Coach Lines is seeking individuals who are interested in joining our sightseeing team. Those who thrive in high-energy environments, enjoy dealing with people, and seek an ever-changing workplace will benefit from this position. This position is great for those wishing to gain experience in the tourism industry or in customer service.

DUTIES:

Accompanying driver on hotel routes to greet and ticket passengers
Offer high quality customer service to the public in a positive and professional manner both in person and over the telephone
Answering incoming calls in a call centre environment; providing accurate information on Pacific Coach products and services
Selling, up-selling/cross selling and reserving tours by telephone
Completing sales reports - including cash and credit card
Responding to correspondence (fax and email) that pertains to Vancouver and Victoria sightseeing and cross-water motor-coach services
Other projects and duties assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
Able to work under pressure with very tight deadlines
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Customer service and sales experience essential
General knowledge of the Vancouver and Victoria tourism industry
Cash/credit card handling experience
Tourism experience/education and SuperHost certificate an asset
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Express and the Internet
Fluent in English; a second language is an asset
